Editing Playbooks
You can edit a playbook at any time. Edits to a published playbook take effect immediately on the next call — there is no re-publish queue.
Editing a Step
- Open the playbook from Playbooks.
- Click the step you want to edit.
- Make your changes in the step editor panel on the right.
- Changes auto-save every few seconds — you'll see a "Saved" indicator in the toolbar.
Version History
Every save is snapshotted. To view history:
- Click the ⋯ More menu at the top right of a playbook.
- Select Version History.
- Click any version to preview it side-by-side with the current version.
- Click Restore to revert to that version. A new snapshot is created so you can undo the revert too.
Duplicating a Playbook
Duplicate a playbook to create a variation for testing — for example, a new intake script you want to try alongside your existing one. Click ⋯ → Duplicate. The copy is created in draft state and must be published to go live.
Archiving
Archived playbooks are removed from the active trigger pool but their data and history are preserved. Archive instead of delete to avoid losing call history tied to a playbook.
