Voice Order Entry
The counter is loud; your hands are dirty; you're juggling. Tap the mic, say the order, the system builds the ticket.
Use it
- Tap the voice button in the cart.
- Say the order in plain language: "Two chicken shawarma bowls, one with no onions, both with extra garlic sauce. And a mint lemonade."
- Review the parsed cart. Edit if anything's off.
What it handles
- Modifiers ("extra," "no," "on the side")
- Quantity ("two," "a dozen," "half")
- Substitutions ("instead of," "swap")
- Allergy notes ("she's allergic to peanuts")
What trips it up
Background music with vocals. Heavy regional accents on uncommon menu items. Two people talking at once. When in doubt, type — voice is an accelerant, not a crutch.
