Google Voice
Google Voice can't "forward" in the traditional star-code sense, but you can have it ring an additional number alongside your linked devices.
- Open Google Voice settings. You'll need to be signed in to the Google account that owns the GV number.
- Open Calls → Linked numbers → Add a new linked number. Enter your adaptlive number —
{FORWARDING_NUMBER}— and follow the verification prompt. Google will place a verification call to that number. - Once verified, every call to the GV number will simultaneously ring your other linked numbers and adaptlive. To make adaptlive the only ring destination, unlink the others.
- Optional: disable Google Voice's screening prompt so adaptlive doesn't have to navigate the "press 1 to accept the call" interactive voice menu.
Notes
- Google Voice's screening prompt ("Press 1 to accept this call") will confuse adaptlive. Turn it off under Calls → Call screening.
- Google Voice can route SMS too, but adaptlive doesn't handle SMS yet — those still land in GV.
