Editing a Workflow
Fork a template, change the fields and stages that don't fit, ship.
Fork it first
On the Workflows page, click the fork icon on any template. That copies it into your org under your control — the original template stays untouched.
Edit the fields
- Add a field, drag to reorder, mark as required.
- Each field has a type (text, number, address, date, choice, etc.) and an optional list of "say to confirm" phrases the cockpit will read.
- Delete a field — historical records keep the data, but new records won't capture it.
Edit the stages
Stages are linear by default. Reorder, rename, or insert a new one. Set which stage is "live" (counts as in-progress on the Pipeline) and which is "synced" (terminal — pushed to the CRM).
Gated
The workflow editor requires the workflowBuilder Clerk feature. Upgrade your plan if the edit button isn't there.
